Just because the 2014 FIFA World Cup is only a little more than a year away doesn't mean we can't get excited about it right? With so many rising stars and wise practiced veterans you can't help but to wonder what the next World Cup will have in store for us. There has been many speculations about which teams and players will "rise to the occasion" (especially from the recent release of the FIFA World Rankings). Hit the jump to learn more about the incredible venues and teams to watch out for in the next 2014 FIFA World Cup.

With World Cup qualifiers still taking place there is no official list of teams that are guaranteed for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. But that doesn't mean we can't mention some potential underdogs or teams to look out for. Every year you hear about the typical "powerhouses": Spain, Brazil, Germany, France, Portugal, Argentina etc. but are these still the teams to beat? According to FIFA's World Rankings they beg to differ. Brazil and France have been placed in the outskirts of the top 20 (Brazil at 19 and France at 18). With many games still yet to play you have to wonder how these rankings will look in a year, but for now we can only speculate, argue, and analyze each team as the countdown gets closer. Make sure to check out each of the stadiums these teams will be playing in below, and post a comment about who you think will be the team(s) to look out for in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
